GRAND PRIX
The GRAND PRIX PAF 2010 was - for a two part TV series from fresh water called "Mysteries under water I. and II." - awarded to the Czech filmmaker Hugo Habrman. The prize was handed over ty the festival prezident Bohumír Kráčmar and the mayor of Tachov, Ladislav Macák. As a bonus, the winner received a diving stay on the boat SMY Ondina and a crystal mermaid made by academic painter Zdeněk Petr.
The staff of the SMY Ondina wants to congratulate the winner of this appreciated Grand Prix and send our warmest regards to the Paf Tachov Festival organisation and to all the people and buddies attending the
Festival.These beautiful films greatly contribute to create a conscience to preserve the beauty of Nature. There are too many threats on the seas we love so much, overfishing, pollution, commercial navigation, coast line building.....etc. Only by knowing and loving the seas we will be able to preserve them for the future. Thanks to all of you filmmakers and audience
for collaborating in this difficult but beautiful task.

The TOP PHOTO prize for the best photo series in the "author´s portfolio" category was awarded (together with a voucher for a week´s stay on a boat in the Red Sea, sponsored by the Seamaster Diving firm) to Martin Strmiska from Slovakia. As a bonus the winner received a crystal mermaid made by academic painter Zdeněk Petr.
