PAF 2026 will take place on April 10th - 12th, 2026.
The start date for accepting all competition entries, except for photographs, is January 20th, 2026. The start date for accepting photographs will be specified at a later date. Please see below for details.
The deadline for accepting competition entries is Sunday, March 1st, 2026, at midnight.

Dear photographers, we are preparing a new interactive web gallery for you. Not only will it have a more modern look and a more pleasant working environment, but the main new feature will be the possibility of audience rating.
Visitors to the website will be able to rate photographs in the competition categories in the PAF Tachov gallery from their computers.
Unfortunately, we have not yet managed to complete everything by the expected deadline. We apologize for the slight delay in accepting competition entries. We will inform you as soon as everything is finished and ready for you to upload your photos.

NOTICE

Dear competitors,
Due to undeliverability or failure to pick up the shipment, several awards are returned to Tachov every year. We would like to ask you to check the address in the application. Please use an address where you can be reached approximately one month after the festival ends.
All photographers, please check your address in the application http://festival.paftachov.cz/ to see if it is up-to-date and correct it if necessary.
If you require a different delivery date for the plaque or price, please inform us in advance.
Due to the current financial burden of transport costs, we do not send returned parcels a second time. All returned shipments can be collected from the festival organizers until the next year of the PAF Tachov festival.
Exceptionally, it is possible to send the prize a second time and only at the author's expense.
